Your data, in plain language

What we collect

• Utility bills you upload (electricity and gas statements), so the tool can read your usage and build your report.
• Details you enter in our forms: your name, work email, company, and anything you type in a message when you contact us, request access, or book a call.

How your bills are used

Your bill is used for one thing: to read the usage figures off it (kilowatt-hours and therms) and calculate your emissions. To do that, the bill is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, which extracts the numbers. Per Anthropic's API terms, data sent through the API is not used to train their models and is retained only briefly for safety monitoring.

We do not keep your bill files on our servers. They are processed to produce your report and then discarded. We do not build a profile from them, and we never sell your data.

Who processes your data

• Anthropic — reads your uploaded bill to extract usage figures. Not used to train models.
• Resend — sends us an email notification when you submit one of our forms, so we can reply.
• Our server — Eco Bizzy runs on our own hosted server; the database that stores form submissions is ours.

How long we keep things

• Uploaded bills: not stored. Processed to produce your report, then discarded.
• Your report: generated when you ask for it and downloaded by you. We do not retain a copy on our servers.
• Form submissions (name, email, company, message): stored in our database so we can respond and serve you. We keep these until you ask us to delete them, or until we no longer need them.

Your choices
